Precast rings for lining wells, also called cement rings or concrete cylinders. We cast them in ten sizes from 36 inches to 9 feet, each in one piece in a steel mould with steel wire in the wall. Our own crane lorry delivers them and lowers each ring into place.

How many rings?
The top ring usually stands above the ground, so add that height too. Tell us the depth and we will check the count for you.
Farm wells up to
9 feet wide.
The 6½, 8 and 9 ft rings are 24 inches high. They are used for farm and irrigation wells, water storage and large chambers. Rings this size can only be moved by crane, so we deliver them and set them in place ourselves.

Strong enough to roll
Rings small enough to roll get rolled: off the lorry and over rough ground to the well. Ours arrive in one piece. The big 6½ to 9 ft rings are too heavy to roll, so they go by crane.

Steel wire inside
Reinforcing wire goes into the mould before the concrete, so it is cast inside the wall of every ring. Concrete carries weight well but cracks when it is knocked or bent. The wire holds it together.

A richer mix
We put more cement into every batch than most yards do, so the rings come out harder and denser. It costs more to make, and it is why our price is a little higher.

Cast in steel moulds
Steel gives the wall a smooth, tight face, without the rough, open patches where water gets in. That matters for a ring that will sit in wet ground for years.
Delivered and
lowered into place.
Our own lorry carries a hydraulic crane. It lifts each ring off the back and lowers it straight into the pit or onto the ring below, so you don't need to hire a crane or find people to move them. We deliver across Sri Lanka. Tell us the town when you ask for a price and delivery will be included.
A cover slab
for every size.
Each slab is made to fit its ring, with two lifting hooks cast in. We make them plain, or with a square or round opening for access. Tell us which you need when you ask for a price.

What sizes of well ring do you make?
Ten widths, from 36 inches to 9 feet, measured inside the ring. Rings from 36″ to 54″ are 36″ high, the 60″ is 30″ high, and the 6½, 8 and 9 ft rings are 24″ high. The 40″ is also made 24″ high. There is a cover slab to fit every size.
Which size do I need for a home well?
A drinking-water well for a home usually uses one of the smaller sizes. Farm wells for irrigation use the large 6½, 8 and 9 ft rings. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the site on WhatsApp and we will tell you the right size.
How many rings do I need for my well?
Divide the depth you want to line by the height of the ring. With 36″ (3 ft) rings, 30 feet of well takes 10 rings. With 24″ rings, the same depth takes 15. Tell us the depth and we will work it out for you.
Are cement rings and concrete well rings the same thing?
Yes. Well rings, cement rings, concrete rings and concrete cylinders are all names for the same thing: a precast concrete ring that lines a well or a pit.
Are your rings reinforced?
Yes. Steel wire is placed in the mould before the concrete goes in, so every ring has wire cast inside its wall.
Can I buy the rings only?
Yes. If you have your own well diggers, we deliver the rings and lower them in with our crane.
Do you also dig the well?
Yes. Our team digs the well, our crane lowers the rings into place, and a cover slab finishes it, anywhere in Sri Lanka.
What is the price of a well ring?
It depends on the size, how many you need and how far they are going. Send us the sizes, the number and the town on WhatsApp, and we will reply with a price that includes delivery.
Do you deliver outside Embilipitiya?
